At Live in Place Designs, we understand that dealing with contractors can be overwhelming for clients, from finding qualified contractors to negotiating bids that fully reflect the design plan without additional charges. That’s why we offer contractor services to help our clients navigate the pre-construction process.
We only work with contractors who have experience with the specific accessible construction requirements that we specialize in, such as handicap bathroom and accessible kitchen modifications, in-law suite additions, and home modifications for disabled individuals. Our contractors are qualified to build according to our design plans, and we work closely with them to ensure that all design requirements are considered in their bids.
We educate them on the specific accessible construction requirements that we specialize in, ensuring that they fully understand the scope of the project and the design plan. This contractor education leads to more reliable bids and helps to prevent additional charges from being added later in the project.
Additionally, we offer client advocacy to ensure that our clients receive bids that accurately reflect the scope of the project and are priced fairly. We assist in scheduling accessible products that are recommended in our designs and can help our clients save money on products they order themselves directly from our distributors.
Once a contractor is selected, they’ll be solely responsible for the construction of the project, but we’ll be available to offer support and guidance throughout the construction process as needed.
